i wanna wake up where you are

i wish this weren't true, but nine times out of ten, it takes something really awful to put things into perspective. we all go about our daily lives, complain and worry about things that seem so important, but are truly petty. complain about having to read a chapter in a book, or about having to wake up in the morning and not enjoy the day. in reality, those things are so trivial.

what if you didn't wake up in the morning? you weren't able to complain or not enjoy the day? what if you wanted to but didnt have the chance? what if you blinked and your life was over?

life. is. precious.

in an instant, everything can change. your life can change, someone else's, a whole family's. just like that. it takes something horrible like a freak accident to make us realize that, but it is true. wasting moments on trivial things is worthless, because each moment you spend doing that is a moment you do not get back in your life. it sounds cliche, and is said often, but its true. live each day as if its your last. tell the people that you love that you love them everyday. dont be afraid to tell someone how you feel, for if you don't get the chance, they would never know. let go of judgments and pressures and embrace what you believe in and what you feel and what you love and live for it. live for those you love, live for yourself. do what makes you happy. never go to sleep angry. never go to sleep wishing you told someone, and not have the chance.

never lose another moment of life to petty matters, it can be taken away from us in an instant, we can only live what we have.
