thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, and although this year it isn't quite the same, im still so excited. normally, all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins are here but because of the economy they couldn't do it this year. so it will be a smaller thanksgiving, but still special. i have to admit that i look forward to it all year long because of the FOOD! im such a comfort food kind of a girl, and im pretty sure thanksgiving was made for people like me.
im currently watching the macy's thanksgiving day parade. it is always a favorite of mine, and my favorite float is the tom turkey float.
i just have always loved it. i always make sure to wake up at 9 to catch the whole thing because just for a few hours it makes me feel like a kid again. after the parade of course is the dog show. i am SUCH a sucker for dogs and whoever decided to put a dog show after the parade was an actual GENIUS! i am soo excited to see all of the different pups in action! while watching i will be helping out m make the feast. my personal creation every year is the corn bread soufle, which is just TO DIE FOR.i am about to go begin the prep but before that, here is a list of some things i am thankful for!
