day one

so today was my first day of senior year.

weird.

it's such an unexplainable feeling. it was kind of like the culmination of every first day of school wrapped into one. i've been waiting and waiting for this day and it just came today. didnt even say hello.

my mom cried, i laughed. it was a nice morning.



i started off with a great breakfast too might i add, eggs, a whole wheat english muffin, and some figs. and of course..my awake tea!



anyways, school was good.

it was great to be on top, and be kind of intimidating since i dont get to do that often.

we all kind of walked around with this new found confidence. i think we are in for a great year.



although my locker is legitamately in the booneys. as in there are trees infesting it, its still nice. decorated with pictures of the j's, as well as other important people.



all of my classes are good, they are classes of course so its not like i look forward to them necessarily, but im going to manage my schedule well and i am greatful for that.



there is a new lunch program this year, which forces you to pay a la carte versus previous pre-paid years. so most of us brought a lunch. and with bringing lunch comes buying a lunchbox.

so yesterday, s, g, h, and myself went on a little lunchbox run. it was pretty hilarious actually. a bunch of high school seniors in the children's "back to school" department of k-mart, rummaging through various lunchboxes. we would pull some out and i kept saying "THIS HOLDS NO LUNCH! ARE YOU JOKING?" like honestly these lunchboxes are made for families of mice they are so tiny its ridiculous. i had to find one that a thermos would fit in for days when i would bring mac or something of the sort. finally, i found the winner. its a pink and purple bratz lunchbox. incase you dont know what bratz are, they are these dolls that are basically huge sluts that little girls play with. and they have no noses. its weird. but on the plus side one of them has my name. other purchases included spongebob, spiderman, and miss dolly. (wtf!?)

i had a lovely lunch. a realllllyyyy good green healthy salad with peppers, tomatoes, craisins, egg, and gorgonzola with a nice light dressing. i also had a cup of strawberries and figs. and a cookie.
it was delicious.

i then had to rush to an appointment after school, and was way too drained to do my homework. senioritis has already kicked in. lovely.

i hope this year has a lot in store for me, but we shall all find out together.
