life is all about respect and the choices we make along the way. despite destiny, despite the fact that what is meant to be will be, we are the navigators of our own lives, and we do control our own destiny. i am reading "the art of racing in the rain" right now and found this perfect quote to explain what i am trying to say: that which we manifest is before us; we are the creators of our own destiny.

there are few words that are truer. our choices are half chance, but so are everybody else's. the choices we make can never be guaranteed, but they can always be made following your heart, following your mind, and following what you truly believe in.

forget the pressures, forget the standards, forget it all and just be you. make choices because you laugh hard, love deeply, and feel alive just because you can.
go forward with the mentality that without respect, without compassion, without a genuine concern for the well-being of not only yourself but more importantly others, our choices will be meaningless, and never lead us to our destiny we are meant to have.

we are the creators of that destiny, we are the are the navigators, the artists, the writers, so make every choice count. make it mean something. make it worth it all.
